When the editorial staff of this paper published an endoresement of I-960 — I could hardly believe my eyes! I did not write then, waiting for what might ensue. But nothing did until this past weekend when you printed a repeat on the editorial page of all the issues and candidates you (The Herald) endorsed.
While I agree with most of your recommendations by far, there was that one glaring endorsement I still find hard to believe: yes on I-960. Is Tim Eyman now on The Herald’s editorial staff? The stuff and substance of I-960 is straight out of the anarchist’s handbook! If your desire is to tie up state government in red tape for eternity, that would be the way to go!
Vote no on I-960 so the government can progress and we can be an informed and active citizenry!
