As residents with a long family history in Monroe, we’ve seen a lot of changes take place over the years. Moving with the times, over time, our city council has done a good job in keeping up with the growth that was inevitable in our region — while at the same time attempting to maintain that small town feel that is such an important part of living in our town.
Happiness, we feel, is about balance — growth and development yes, but planned and at a pace that will minimally impact the quality of life for ourselves and our families who have chosen to live here — that’s the balance that we believe Geoffrey Thomas will bring to all of us as mayor of Monroe. He has the managerial skills, council experience, knowledge of our issues and background the job demands — but at the same time he understands what brought most of us to this part of Washington — that quality of life and small town feel that still exists in Monroe. Please join us in voting for Geoffrey for Mayor of Monroe — he’s the right person for this job at this time — vote for balance.
