John Edwards wants to be our vice president. He recently stated that the current vice president talks about the war on terror in order to frighten us, as if there truly is not a war going on at this very moment. In light of the more than 150 children (335 total murdered) who were held hostage, terrorized, tortured and then brutally killed recently in Beslan, Russia, it is beyond comprehension that Mr. Edwards does not see that these terrorist thugs who hide behind and kill innocent children at school are real, deadly and determined.
This is not a talking point. Those children and their parents actually died and we must focus on this issue, because it could happen here. Keeping us safe and alive is the only issue that matters. At this point in our history, we must rise above our childish, petty wants and fight valiantly to thwart the designs and plots of this evil enterprise that continues to threaten our very lives and those of our children. Who will stand steadfastly and not waiver against these deadly threats? We must not have a president who will have a foreign policy that constantly shifts direction like a windsurfer being blown by the wind.
