Our democratic principles dictate that we allow others to have their say — even when we have strong feelings against their ideas. Those who disrupt town hall meetings so others cannot have their say are violating our sacred principles. They are desecrating the memories of those who have fought and died to protect our freedom — to protect the rights of all of us to have our say in a peaceful society.
Shame on those who disrupt! Whatever your opinions, be good citizens. If you agree, please stand against those who shout down peaceful exchanges of ideas. Our soldiers have fought to protect our freedoms. And sometimes the quiet majority has to step forward and fight for our freedom too. This is one of those times.
