Too many negative impacts on area
My husband and I have lived on Lord’s Hill, Snohomish, for nearly 30 years. Years ago we, and many of the other residents of this area, put in a lot of time and work to bring Lord’s Hill Park and the Bob Heirman Wildlife Preserve into existence. These two wildlife preserves are in the immediate proximity of the proposed KRKO antenna farm.
The proposed site is in a flyway for migrating birds. On any given evening this time of year, around dusk, flocks of Trumpeter Swans can be seen, flying low, directly through the area of the proposed antenna farm site. This area is zoned for agriculture. Permitted activities in this area are to have no negative visual impact on the rural ambience of the valley. For that reason alone, the antenna farm should never have been considered for this site.
This antenna farm needs to be located in an area where it will not have so many negative impacts on the residents, both human and wild.
