The presidential debates are the most idiotic, non-productive debacles I have ever seen. Whose insane idea was all this? Standing these people on a stage like in a shooting gallery. I can’t imagine what runs through their collective minds to let themselves be subjected to such a dog and pony show. It is really an insult to have them asked questions and not given enough time to clearly express themselves.
If you are going to find out about them, a sit-down interview with a good interviewer would better serve the candidate and the viewers. These “debates” serve no one and produce bad results because of the time restraints. Why don’t they do it right? If I were a candidate I would not attend such a freak show.
Let’s take these jokes away and have a sensible approach. A circus is a circus. Let’s be realistic. Set a schedule and day by day give these people a fair chance. We have learned nothing so far.
