In response to the Thursday letter regarding the Lake Stevens site being a bad choice for the UW branch campus because of traffic, I have to ask if the writer lost his compass.
Correct me if I am wrong, but the last time I was stuck in the horrendous backup on the trestle in the morning, the traffic was headed west into Everett, not the other way around.
Another horrendous backup in the morning is traffic from the north heading southbound on Interstate 5, also heading into Everett. I have heard too many people trying to say that Everett would be the best site because of traffic.
If traffic were to actually get worse as a result of college, it seems to me that the Everett sites would be the ones causing traffic to get worse, not the Lake Stevens site.
