Medicare and Social Security seem to be the target for our country’s politicians to put on the chopping block to reduce spending.
Hardly mentioned is how much it costs to fund 10 years of war, let alone the sacrifice of life our soldiers have to make.
Just why are we still there? Our military leaders keep saying Iraq and Afghanistan cannot support their own defense, more training is needed! Do you think any business would invest in 10 years of training personnel and nothing to show for it?
Better use of our soldiers and billions of dollars would be to place them along our southern border. Let’s protect our country, save American lives and keep the money spending here to boost our economy.
