Mark Twain once commented that an imminent death sentence helps concentrate the mind wonderfully.
In the Christmas season, there have traditionally been thoughts of “Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Men.” People think about these words in different ways. So I want to thank Donald Trump and his dear friend, Vladimir Putin, for helping all of us concentrate our thoughts better, now that they both have called for increased nuclear weapons, and Trump’s spokesman has said that we will “outlast them all” in our ability to produce and use nuclear weapons.
Trump’s good Christmas cheer has uplifted all of us, and wonderfully concentrated our thinking.
