To add to a recent letter regarding our grandchildren paying for the Trump tax cut, the annual deficit is on track to top $1 trillion, adding further to the national debt. That yearly deficit amounts to over $3,000 for every man, woman and child in the United States.
My wife and I now owe $6,000 more for just this year, and I can assure you our tax cut was less than one-tenth of that. The tax cut shifted the burden of the cost of government (defense, education, law enforcement, etc., etc.) from the upper income people to the middle- and low-income people.
