Trump to blame for divisions over covid, mask use

The Herald recently printed an article about the division, unrest and danger amongst people regarding mask use. I have written before that our country is on the verge of civil unrest unlike we have had, perhaps ever. We have armed mobs of protesters at the homes of elected officials and health officials. Death threats made. Attempted kidnapping. Defiant rebellion, like the Snohomish barber, and Port Angeles gym that continues to remain open via darkened windows and a speakeasy back entrance. We see people killed or assaulted at public places over mask use. Over mask mandates!

This dire situation has one propelling catalysis: Trump and his cast of cowardly and ignorant minions, mostly conservatives. Because Trump ignored and lied about the covid, and things exploded, he could not admit fault. Instead, he played down the disease, and efforts to subdue it, and continued to lie. Worse, he and his representatives made it more of a political partisan issue versus a united issue.

So, now we have anti-maskers, encouraged to dismiss science, endanger everyone, then go crying to the heath care workers when they get sick. For unexplained reasons, people fear the pompous ass who was soundly defeated, and continue to press on with the host of lies of how he is not the national loser. False reality. True reality: ammo and guns in very limited supply. Not for hunting season. Does this not concern you? The Republican Party has blood on its hands, and there’s lots more to come unless any remaining real patriotic Republicans rescue this train wreck.
