The Dec. 12 article in The Herald about the drop in Lockheed Martin stock when Trump said he would cancel the deal. His appointment of people close to Putin. His lack of transparency about his income and businesses. They all add up if you see how Putin took power.
He blackmailed the oligarchs of Russia with threats of imprisonment and confiscation of properties. “Red Notice” by Bill Browder, may be a must read for Americans to understand a man who admires Putin and also is President.
Trump could easily enrich himself and others with the power of the presidency and the ability of remembering only what is in his interest. His supporters say give him a chance. I am. And he is continuing to alarm me. We need to remember he appoints all of the federal prosecutors in the U.S.
When President Obama leaves, they all resign. Remember how Trump holds grudges? He has not changed and his appointees could easily reflect his feeling in who and when to prosecute. Pray for our country; we’re going to need it.
