Regarding the sports commentary, “Pac-12 network annoys viewers”: If you are a school fan, as I am, note that the lack of TV exposure has to effect sports recruiting. The column referenced national signing day for football. Many kids will never see their local schools play except when teams are occasionally on national TV. What a joke.
Potential big time players want national exposure. I believe that every year Pac-12 schools are stuck with the current network direction that one or two quality players go elsewhere. Recruiting is hard enough without this handicap.
Note that I am in Colorado. We get almost no real Pac-12 coverage. Colorado University is trying to figure out why basketball game attendance is down. My answer, can’t see road games so it’s tough to be a real fan. Why bother going to the occasional home game when the conference plays its own games.
Please keep the pressure on Pac-12 Network.
