Vast cultural wasteland: Among the highlights on TV this week is Wednesday’s episode of “Psych” at 10 p.m. on the USA network. The detective crime drama marks its 100th episode with a “Clue”-themed case. Viewers can vote online to guess whodunit.
Spoiler alert: It’s Colonel Mustard in the Conservatory with the Lead Pipe. (OK, it’s just a guess, but I won more than a few games of “Clue” relying only on chance.)
Minnie makeover: High fashion house Lanvin has unveiled a mature new look for Minnie Mouse: a bejeweled gown described by one onlooker as a bit “mother of the bride.”
No word yet on whether Mickey Mouse will get a new wardrobe to match, but he reportedly was seen in the men’s furnishings department at a Los Angeles-area Nordstroms over the weekend.
Lucky numbers: Someone in New Jersey purchased a Powerball lottery ticket that’s worth more than $220 million if the holder chooses the lump-sum payment option.
The winner’s identity is still unknown, but rest assured that no one in Jersey’s been that happy since Gov. Chris Christie’s last visit to Red Lobster on bottomless popcorn shrimp night.
