Two of three didn’t return calls, e-mails

I’m writing to let you know that of the three legislators that I called or e-mailed regarding the governor’s race, only one responded – Sen. Dave Schmidt. I’m in the 44th Legislative District and Reps. John Lovick and Hans Dunshee did not bother to respond. I thought they’re supposed to listen to their constituents, and at least acknowledge that they received my comments, whether they agreed with them or not. I’ll remember this come re-election time. It’s definitely time for a change. We need people to represent us, not just lip service.

By the way, the past 20 years the governor’s mansion has been occupied by the same political party, and we’re billions of dollars in the hole. Gov. Christine Gregoire has retained some of Mr. Locke’s cabinet members. So what’s going to change for this state? How about a revote? I, along with thousands of others, have voiced my opinion regarding the very questionable governor’s race. At least the people of Ukraine can get their act together, as well as the people in Minnesota when they had a revote. I wouldn’t surprised if my vote got canceled out by some dead person or felon. Oh wait, I thought every vote was supposed to count. Oh yes, only the illegitimate ones, I guess.
