Typical Congress avoids the experts

I read an article about how border patrol agents have serious concerns about the Senate’s immigration bill. This reminds me of when the ACA (Obamacare) was drafted and passed without input from health care providers. And, we all know how that is progressing. Gosh, doesn’t it seem like common sense to consult and involve the people who are on the front lines with experience and a working knowledge of the problem? Guess not if you are in Congress.
