In regard to the letter stating Democratic Party “identifies as socialist.” The chairman of the DNC should get a dictionary along with the author of that letter. He states there is no difference. Wrong! There is a total difference.
Democrat: an advocate of democracy. Believes in the political or social equality of all people.
Republican: A state in which the supreme power rests in the body citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by representatives.
(A republic, which we are, is governed by representatives such as a president rather then a king or queen.)
Socialist: Believes a person’s body, health, soul, property and money belong to the state. Believes in limited personal liberty. Government control over lives. Such as North Korea, for example.
