In answer to Dale S. Fischer’s Nov. 19 letter, Iraq: How many deaths will we tolerate?” How many deaths did we tolerate in this country on Sept. 11, 2001? Would you like the next strike to be in your hometown? We have many brave people willing to serve this nation in Iraq, even though they know their lives are in jeopardy. They are making a statement to the world that America will not tolerate terrorists such as Saddam Hussein. I choose to rise up and shout praise to our heroes. This is America, the land of the free, and most thinking people would like to keep it that way.
