Regarding the June 5 letter, “Synchronized lights would make sense”:
How well I understand the writer’s frustration with the traffic lights that, if they were synchronized, would allow a much smoother flow of traffic. When I lived in Dusseldorf, Germany, we could drive for miles on the main road without having to stop, provided we kept within the speed limit.
Wouldn’t it be nice if such a system was introduced here too?
