Was I surprised to hear Boeing would be taking its business to South Carolina? No! I have personally seen what a union that’s too big for its own britches can do to a city, an economy, and, yes, even its own union members!
What the union has to understand is that Boeing is not a nonprofit charity. It’s a business, and when the employees continue to threaten the profit margin, the bosses will pick up their toys and find a new sandbox to play in.
I’m hoping this election cycle (and the next one) will result in common-sense results — that hopey-changey thing isn’t working so well, is it? Aaron Reardon, Queen Christine, Patty, Maria, Rick, I think your days are numbered, as well they should be!
