As the 2010 Stanwood-Camano’s Relay for Life comes to a close, we’d like to thank the community for the huge support we were given this year. Their participation in Paint the Town Purple, to advertising in windows, to donations of food, decoration and money, as well as the commitment of the high school students and all their beautiful hand-painted signs, becoming the next generation to fight cancer.
A big thank you to the Relayers! Their dedication to raising money for research and wellness programs for this terrible disease was an inspiration. These are the giving souls who are on the front lines — thank you for everything you have done this year. We are so proud of your fundraising efforts and your dedication to embrace the idea that cancer never sleeps, so neither do we, for one night out of the year.
Thank you to our committee members for giving their time, ideas, energy and effort into creating, planning and implementing of a truly wonderful event.
We’d like to especially thank the sponsors, who are the backbone of Relay. You are our heroes!
Thank you so much for your support and pledges! We close this event with uplifted hearts, hope and gratitude and already look forward to planning for next year. We hope you look for us at the Stanwood Camano Fair, as well as our float, this August. Do not stop fighting and keep fundraising, and we hope to see you next year!
