I read that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission says it doesn’t have the authority to prevent foreign nuclear waste from entering America and being stored here for thousands of years. I have a workable solution. Let the foreign nuclear waste be stored in Congress members’ desks and in their backyards. Congress won’t take action to protect us from foreign nuclear waste, but its members would sure act to protect themselves from it.
