With all the concern about sheltering the homeless, and all the foreclosed and abandoned homes around, why can’t these two problems be brought together as a solution?
The mortgage holders aren’t maintaining these homes and they are deteriorating. They bring down the values in the neighborhoods, attract illegal dumping, vandals and thieves. They need residents. The homeless need a place to reside. It’s not a difficult concept.
