The Monday letter to the editor, “Our soldiers are not fighting over oil,” had me going for a moment.
After reading the first paragraph I had to glance down to the letter writer’s name to reassure myself that this wasn’t actually written by George W. Bush himself. But when I read the last line that quotes Edmund Burke: “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,” I realized that George would never tip his hand like that and flat out tell the American people we have the ability to rid ourselves of him if we would simply do something!
