I don’t care particularly what days the USPS decides to deliver the mail. I would just be happy if the mail was delivered as it should be.
Since December, we have not received a paycheck, not received a credit card bill and not received my favorite magazine. In addition, a paycheck was delivered to the neighbors, stuck between pages of junk mail flyer. We have received the neighbor’s mail twice and they have received ours. We have received mail for someone six blocks east of us and for someone five blocks west of us.
I now keep a list of what bills we should be receiving, so that I will not get assessed late fees. I worry because the missing paycheck had our name, address and social security number on it. We have changed our credit card number, so the person that received our bill does not have access to that. It has really been time consuming and a worry.
The USPS needs to take better care of the mail and be more careful with the delivery of mail on whatever days they choose to deliver.
