I am old enough to remember the furious anger of many drivers when the car seat belt was made mandatory and we were all told to buckle up. Many drivers were incensed because their “freedoms” were being infringed upon and they fought viciously against the seat belts rules!
Those drivers missed the point. It wasn’t really about them so much. It was about the emergency folks who grew tired of scraping unbelted bodies and faces off of the public roadways!
The same thing goes regarding masks and vaccines. It’s not only about you.
