Victims of attack deserve better

I am writing to comment on the article that came out in the Sept. 30 issue of The Herald, titled “Anti-war protest grows.” The subtitle is “10,000 march in capital against war on terrorism.” I found it interesting that the article did not mention who the organizers of this march were. I happened to listen to an interview with one of the organizers on a local radio show last week. It was clear during the interview that the organizer was a dyed-in-the-wool communist. The organization is the International Action Center. They are professional protesters who are basically against everything American. I am sure there were many there who were sincere in their desire for peace, but are pro-American. They need to look at who organizes the events they attend. The IAC are Anti-American and therefore, pro-terrorist.

The polls speak for themselves. The vast majority of Americans support our president and our military. Those who were in D.C. just don’t get it. Marching for peace isn’t going to do it. All that will do is strengthen and encourage the terrorists! Support our president – support our troops. Let’s remember those who have already given their lives in this war and resolve not to let them die in vain.
