Volunteer team brought energy, enthusiasm

On behalf of the 8,000 seniors at Northshore Senior Center, I would like to extend a big thank you to all of the United Way volunteers and staff who make Day of Caring happen. I know it is a tremendous amount of work and we appreciate it. I appreciated that United Way President Carl Zapora came out personally to meet me and the Northshore staff. I got to greet the Cascade Bank volunteer team and give them cookies. The big load of compost/mulch had just shown up so they needed the extra energy! The team was great, got a great deal done, and we are very pleased to be a partner in Day of Caring.
