The League of Women Voters believes “that democratic government depends upon the informed and active participation of its citizens.” These off-year elections can decide what curriculum your children will be taught; whether storytime, classes and events are available at your library, whether surface water management will solve floods in your neighborhood, and more. Vote on behalf of yourself and your children. Presidential campaigns roll around every four years. In between those years there are local and state elections that will affect our lives here in Snohomish County. Your vote matters!
