Voters made a poor choice in reelecting Gov. Inslee

Jay Inslee was just re-elected governor. This was a very poor choice.

The covid crisis started here, and after many months it is just getting worse. His plans are not working. Under Gov. Inslee, covid is out of control, and people are dying, with no end in sight. After years of his poor leadership we still suffer through some of the worst traffic in the world. Homelessness in our state is running at an all-time high and continues to get worse. Drugs, crime, and unemployment are running rampant in our neighborhoods, with no end in sight under Inslee’s lack of leadership.

Under Inslee’s rule, racism in our state is also out of control. He is not a leader, he is a divider, period. He and the attorney general have let arson, rioting, assault, property damage and numerous other crimes go unpunished. Law-abiding citizens are paying the price for Inslee’s lack of leadership. Law enforcement can no longer do its’ job effectively. Unfortunately, our two major party system has allowed politicians to run rampant in our society, and more waste of tax payer money is on the way. No matter what side of the aisle we all sit on, change is needed.

Comment: Finding gratitude for the simplest of ceremonies

Pardoning turkeys is a silly photo-op, but it is a presidential act, free of politics and sorely needed.

Comment: 2020 was a year; still, there’s reason for gratitude

As bad as things have been for the country, however, the bad allows one to appreciate the good.
