Oh, the irony! Don’t want to be offended by Mr. Eyman’s use of a two letter term (commonly used in a vulgar manner to express disbelief), in a voter pamphlet that almost no one reads (according to some), yet it’s recently been used (twice now), in letters to the editor of The Herald with the express purpose of having it published and thus read by, a bunch of people. (“Eyman’s ‘B.S.’ deemed too vulgar for voters pamphlet,” The Herald, Sept. 1.)
Online research for daily total of papers printed/distribution was unsuccessful, so rather than providing “fake” information I provide this disclaimer, but I would think that there’s got to be a lot of people reading The Herald, and, I thought I’d seen a photo of a young woman wearing a tee shirt with (the offending initials) emblazoned on the front in a recent edition of the paper. Could be wrong.
No disagreement with the lack of civility today. Just sayin’.
