Regarding the new free credit report: I logged onto the Web site and registered per the instructions. I did get to see one of three free credit reports. The page displaying the free report included blank columns for the other two inviting me to press a button to get the others free.
What I got was a page asking me to put in a credit card number for Triple Advantage Credit Information which costs $12.95. I declined, never getting the two missing reports.
Also displayed is a tab for disputing information on the credit report. Clicking on that gets another invitation to the Triple Advantage Credit Information for $12.95. One must pay $5 for the credit card score, presumably $5 for each one.
What I got after an hour or so of effort was one report, not three. If you want all three with the scores you will pay $27.95 – that is not free.
