I am sick and tired of hearing about our Marines being charged with murder in Iraq. We send our young people over there to conduct a war and then our government won’t stand behind them. I will believe a Marine before I would listen to an Iraqi. We don’t treat the insurgents in Gitmo as bad as we are treating our own young men. It is time that our leaders stand up for these brave young men.
One of our local Marines, Robert Pennington, is being charged and it is time for us to come to their aid. I not sure what we can do, but I am going to write my congressmen and express my outrage. I hope some of you will do the same.
