We are allowed to race, burn fuel

I can’t believe The Herald wasted the space to print the recent bash on the motocross community. (Monday letter, “Use of fossil fuel worse than noise.”)

So we burn a little fuel during the course of our day. Big deal!

Some folks choose to go for a Sunday drive. Is this also a waste of fuel?

Some folks choose to drive a huge motor home across the country to see the sights. Is this a waste of fuel?

You need to get over yourself.

This is America and if we choose to spend our free time racing, that is our right.
