There is a great difference between hysteria and utter disgust. Who is swarming the county building corridors but those applying for permits to create Rural Cluster Subdivisions and Fully Contained Communities, followed by lawyers advocating their glorious importance?
Remember, RCS and FCC are options, not necessities, yet all we hear is of the onslaught of people washing on the shores of Snohomish County in great need of shelter.
Let our county take its own natural course of growth. There may be a time in the future when the people of the Lake Roesiger area decide to incorporate as a city. It will be by their choice and desire, not being forced fed by a “vision” that causes bad digestion and revulsion.
The same applies to RCS. The county is suppose to protect and preserve rural areas and farmlands, instead they allow the growth of cancer-like cells in the guise of RCS.
How much longer can we afford this type of “growth” when our infrastructure is unable to sustain it?
Let us enjoy a county that takes care of its hard-working people, not only the greedy ones.
