It’s difficult for many of us to imagine the initial attraction of drugs. The Herald’s series of articles on methamphetamine covered both one young lady’s journey down the road of methamphetamine and back and also provided a great deal of information about the increasing grip of this drug.
Meth is worse than any other drug because it takes the greatest toll in the most possible ways. Whether it is measured in ruined lives, other costs to society or the “one man crime waves,” there’s no escaping the fact that we all have a vested interest in fighting the production and distribution of methamphetamine.
I wonder how Libertarians can hold to their position that government should stop fighting the war on drugs?
