We can’t endure another four years of divisiveness

.

Racial discrimination, although deplorable, is propagated by a relatively small section of the population. Trump claims he’s done more to alleviate this than any other president; which he hasn’t. But his week-long vicious, vitriolic attack on the left, more or less denouncing all Democrats, liberals and socialists as un-patriotic and un-American is discrimination of a much more pernicious kind.

He has created a nation in which reasoned debate and compromise between people with different views have vanished. It has been replaced by a 50-50 split in which each half despises and hates the other. This is Trump’s idea of making America great.

I fear that another four years of this will bring America to the edge of another civil war.
