Upon seeing all the letters to and fro in The Herald on the towers, it is without common sense. People have been coming into Snohomish County for years and filling space requiring more and more necessary services. We need an airport, garbage handling facilities, gravel pits, halfway houses, roads and a wide variety of such needs. We all need them, we all want them, and nobody wants them near them.
KRKO towers fit into this category. We should have stopped all these people from coming here, but we welcomed their arrivals. We built places for them to work and live and now we need a full-power radio station so they can choose to listen. We should have bought all the land long ago and not sold to anyone, but we did not. So we cry a little too loud and too late. Build the towers now so people have a choice and move on in life.
