The 17-year-old driver of the IROC Camaro in which Courtney Amisson died was allegedly violating several laws when he crashed the car. Do you really think one more law would have made a difference? We are not enforcing the laws we have: “No charges have been filed against the driver.”
We give driver’s licenses way too easily. When these incompetents screw up, there seem to be no consequences. What do we expect?
You can’t legislate against stupidity.
