We don’t need a wakeboard park

I believe that Jeff Sax lost his County Council position because he was in the pocket of the developers. He is now the economic developer for the city of Monroe. In his tenure there he is promoting a wakeboard park at Lake Tye. This is through a private company. I have not talked to anyone in the city of Monroe who is happy about giving a wonderful public property to a private party.

Sax is also promoting a change in zoning to a property that has in the past been listed as agricultural and wetlands. He is not looking toward the best interest of the city of Monroe. I feel as a citizen of Monroe that he is not doing what is best for the city.
