We don’t need to reconcile; we need to challenge

I’m so tired of all this talk of a divided America. If one can’t see that a huge swath of Americans are having a psychotic disconnect from reality, they are either an idiot or just not an honest person.

We need to stop this schizophrenic need to believe in whatever makes one feel better than the evil-doers on the left, regardless of whether or not it even destroys our democracy. Anyone that at this point can’t see how dangerous the GOP and Trump have become is an easily misled enabler of the decline of American integrity, decency, intelligence and democratic values.

It’s not time to reconcile. It’s time for patriots to wake up from their childish dreams and to acknowledge the destructive power of willful, self-righteous stupidity.
