This land was made for BofA: Occupy protesters are months into their occupations of parks and squares throughout the United States. And while there is plenty of music in the streets, no common anthem has come forth as a shared expression of the movement.
Perhaps the protesters could just rework the lyrics from some of the great protest songs of the past. May we suggest: “Where Have All the Good Jobs Gone?,” “If I Had a Hummer,” “Foreclosed Little Boxes” and “Take This, Banker, And Shove It.”

Just $5 to roll down the window: The plan to help fund the State Parks system with a $30 annual parking pass is falling short. The state hoped to bring in $64 million in two years, but brought in only $6.5 million in three months this summer.
To bring in the hoped-for revenue a slight adjustment will be made: It’s still $30 to park your car, but it’ll cost you another $20 to get out of your car and enjoy the park.

Not what was meant by ‘checked bag’: Massachusetts State Police have arrested a man returning from a trip to Iceland after he allegedly stole $300 from a flight attendant’s purse during the flight.
Along with theft charges, the man faces a civil suit from the airline for unfair competition; airlines have exclusive rights to in-flight pick-pocketing.
