As sad as what happened Sept. 11 is, what I am here to say is that it has finally happened. After the attack, there is going to be no more concern as to who is a Democrat or a Republican. Who is black or white, male or female. What matters today is we are “One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” Let God guide the hands of those in control to bring to justice those who have violated our country. We, for once, will stand united and fight those who wish to put us down.
To watch all of those people standing on the steps of the Capitol and sing “God Bless America” was probably one of the most moving moments of my life.
I was alive when President John F. Kennedy was shot. I was 5 years old, but I will never forget that moment. I will never forget this day as long as I live.
If we don’t wipe the festering, fetid, evil, insane place clean off the planet, I will just hang my head in shame and wait for the end to come. Now is the time, America, for all of us to put our petty differences aside and join forces and fight for our very lives. Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country. That used to be a typing exercise, but now it has meaning to me. Please God, give President Bush the courage necessary to seek and destroy these animals that have dared to take on the greatest nation under God. I will do all I can, and I beg all of you to do the same.
