I’m writing regarding the current phenomenon of social demoralization. Crime and illegitimacy rates are going up, society is being riddled with racial discrimination, public drunkenness is becoming a common situation, and alcoholism is starting to be an accepted fact of life. Morality has appreciably declined.
America is a free country. What happens when the people who have a weak foundation for morality take advantage of this freedom? The society will perish. The sad thing is that it seems like the population is getting sicker and more senseless about our society. The rise of relativism really leads to apathy, the apathy leads to cowardliness, and this cowardliness eventually leads to tyranny. We need to clarify, sharpen our moral consciousness, speak out and stand up for what is right.
