I’ve recently given much thought to the loss of value in Nordstrom’s stock during the last few months. If the worst is possible, the loss of Nordstrom would not be unlike the loss of Frederick &Nelson. I still miss Frederick’s old world ambiance in product and service. I would equally miss Nordstrom’s elegance and attention to superior service. I know that they’re not at the point of panic yet, but they could be if we do not rediscover this wonderful Pacific Northwest institution and support them with our business.
