I just wanted to drop a note to Christine Gregoire and Dino Rossi and tell them of my plan for the upcoming election. I’m going to keep a note pad by my favorite chair. Every time I see a negative ad by either candidate or their proxies, I’m going to mark a little check by their name. Come November, rest assured, he or she with the most check marks will not get my vote.
I, and scores of others, are sick to death of the negativity. They should use their ad budgets to tell us who they are, what they’ve done and what they plan to do. If the only measure is how much the other candidate stinks — then so be it.
