What about lies that led us to war?

In all the discussion regarding Karl Rove and the naming of an intelligence operative, isn’t the bigger issue the lies and distortions that took us to war? It was Ambassador Joseph Wilson’s discrediting the Niger yellowcake story that led to his wife’s outing. From Richard Clarke to Paul O’Neill, this White House and the Bush administration have consistently displayed their penchant for attacking any and all who dare speak the truth when it deviates from their talking points.
