All summer and fall we have seen this cute commercial of a salmon caricature trying to get people to refrain from watering or fertilizing their lawns. Now, this fall, the city of Everett has plans to build a soccer field and golf course in the wetland area over the marshland that drains into the Snohomish River at low tide. This area has been known to flood every five or six years. How do we propose to do this without any use of fertilizer?
The same people who propose building in wetland areas also propose to build a multi-million dollar hockey center in a congested area now occupied by other businesses. According to The Herald, we have rising unemployment. Where will all the people come from to support this?
