Bryan Corliss’ June 29 article “Boeing bonus incentives due” raises a good question: How much do the taxpayers of Washington get for their investment in Boeing that Gov. Gary Locke made on their behalf? I really don’t think it’s appropriate use of public financing while we watch this company’s employees walk away with bags of money. This is simply wrong.
Citizens need to wake up and put a stop to this kind of special interest use of the taxing authority while other public needs go not funded or under funded. While citizens of low income or fixed income lose their homes to county assessors because of ever higher property taxes!
