According to news reports, the newly formed Pacific-12 Conference has hired a former University of Washington football coach, Rick Neuheisel, as one of its “on-air talent” and spokesperson for the conference’s new television network.
This soon-to-be sports network is gambling on Ricky’s “colorful storytelling” abilities, along with the media company’s speculated statistical probability that Neuheisel’s compulsive fabrications will give the show high ratings. But on the flipside of the coin, this infamous ex-football coach might also motivate the Reno/Vegas oddsmakers to give a mathematical spread of 5 to 1 that Ricky’s involvement will sink the Pac-12’s sports broadcasting goals.
